Florida Subdivision Plat Law and MTS - Home Study: (Course Number: 7438):
will be useful to surveyors and engineers who prepare subdivision plats and maps for recording within Florida's Public Records. The course covers procedures laid out in Chapter 177 Part 1 of Florida Statutes regarding the preparation of recorded subdivision plats. The course also explains how Florida's Minimum Technical Standards for Surveyors and Mappers (61G17-6 F.A.C.) relates to the recording of a subdivision plat and how all boundary surveys should be done in order to meet these standards. an interesting introductory level course on wetland delineation. Wetland delineation knowledge is a must for any surveyor or engineer working within the land development arena. This course focuses on the basics of wetland identification and delineation as well as the history of and recent developments in wetland protection regulations. Home Study Courses from Land Pro Seminars include a bound “Home Study Manual” suitable for your independent study and as a handy reference for your technical/professional library.  Each course is shipped with a 20 question multi-choice exam.  The completed exam should be mailed or faxed back to Land Pro Seminars (LPS) before the expiration date for grading by LPS.  A grade of 70% (or better) correct must be obtained by Florida Surveyors or Florida Engineers in order to receive CE credit.  The exam may be re-taken as many times as necessary in order to obtain credit before the expiration date at no additional cost.  The exam will not be returned to you.  You will receive notification of pass or fail.  Upon passing a certificate of completion will be issued with the student’s name on the certificate.
