David Melvin is the owner and principal instructor of Land Pro Seminars. David is a professional land surveyor and floodplain manager. He is a consultant handling floodplain, wetland and water boundary issues for his clients. David teaches floodplain, wetland, and surveying concepts and is a frequent speaker before environmental, floodplain and surveying groups.  David is a graduate of the University of Florida with a degree in land surveying and has over 20 years of experience in surveying and land development consulting.  He maintains professional registration as a land surveyor in Florida, Alabama, and South Carolina and has been awarded the credential of Certified Floodplain Manager (CFM) by the Association of State Floodplain Managers.
